These terms govern the use of the Invizita website (invizita.ro), in Romanian and English: browsing the catalog, your account, listings, bookings, reviews and the other features shown. The privacy policy and cookie policy are separate documents, linked in the site footer.
What Invizita is
Invizita is a discovery guide for Romania: places to visit, stays, venues, experiences, destination pages (city and county) and, in season, Christmas markets. It may also include editorial content (blog). We are not a travel agency, hotel operator, carrier or the operator of the stays, venues or experiences listed. We do not replace the contract between you and the host, venue or organizer. Invizita provides the website and, where enabled, tools for accounts, listing and booking requests.
Accepting the terms
You can browse the site without an account. If you create or access an account (via email link, password or another sign-in flow shown on the site), you accept these terms from the moment you sign in. If you publish a listing, leave a review or use the host area, the same rules apply, plus the host and content duties below. If you do not agree, do not sign in and do not use features that require an account. Continued use of the site after an update, including a new sign-in, means you accept the new version.
Account and eligibility
The account is tied to your email address. A password is optional. You are responsible for access to that inbox, for the password (if any) and for actions taken from the account. An account can be for a guest, a host (if you have listings) or both. You can ask us to close the account using the contact details on the site. We may suspend or close an account in case of abuse, fraud, false information, unauthorized use or a breach of these terms.
Content on the site
Some content is editorial (articles, destinations, place descriptions, markets). Stay, venue and experience listings and contact details may come from hosts, partners or from us. Maps, distances and travel times are indicative. We aim for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that prices, availability, photos, opening hours or descriptions are always up to date. Check at the source before you book, travel or rely on a piece of information.
Hosts and listings
If you list a stay, an experience or other content, you are responsible for having the right to offer it, for the truth and freshness of the listing information and for complying with the law, including tax, licensing and consumer rules where they apply. You must have the rights to the photos, text and materials you upload. Invizita may edit, withdraw, refuse or not publish a listing. We do not become a party to your contract with guests. The calendar, blocked dates and confirmations in the host account are organizing tools. Actual availability remains your responsibility.
Bookings and payments
Where online booking is enabled, the guest can request a booking on Invizita. Invizita does not collect, hold or refund the money. Payment and, if needed, any refund are between guest and host. A request may be confirmed, cancelled or may cease to be valid. Host confirmation means the booking is valid on the Invizita calendar. Actual availability, stay conditions, check-in, house rules and any dispute are between host and guest. Invizita is not the seller of the stay and does not replace your rights against the host where the law recognizes them.
Favorites, alerts and discovery
Favorites (saved stays) are kept in your browser, not in a server-side account catalog. If you clear site data, you may lose them. If you turn on alerts (for example last-minute or new items), we may email you about those options. You can turn them off from your account. Visited places and destination discovery features are tied to your account, where they are shown.
Reviews, photos and your content
You may leave reviews, notes, photos or messages where the interface allows it, including visit pages (for example after a stay, via a link from the host). Do not post illegal, abusive or misleading content, content that infringes other people’s rights, or third-party personal data without a basis. Reviews may be moderated and published or rejected. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store them and, if published, to display them on Invizita. We may remove content. Uploaded photos may be visible to the host and, after publication, to visitors.
Third-party services and sites
The site may open or embed other people’s services: maps, route estimates, video, messaging channels or host websites. When you use them, their rules apply too. We do not control their content or availability. Communication and payment off Invizita (any channel you and the host choose) are outside our control. We are not responsible for those channels.
Fair use and intellectual property
Do not abuse the site: do not attempt unauthorized access, do not overload the service, do not copy content at scale for commercial use without permission, do not impersonate someone else and do not interfere with other people’s bookings or listings. The Invizita name, the site structure and our editorial content belong to us (or our licensors). You may not reuse them commercially without permission. Materials in listings remain the responsibility of the person who uploaded them. You grant us a license to display them on Invizita while the listing is active or as long as needed after withdrawal (archives, disputes, legal duties).
Liability
Invizita is provided as is. We are not liable for damage arising from stays, experiences or visits, from payments between users, from off-site communications, from site outages, from maps or travel times, from reviews or from incorrect listing information, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights where the law does not allow such a limit. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to direct, foreseeable damage related to use of the site.
Privacy and cookies
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. Cookies and local storage are described in the Cookie policy. By using the site you also agree to those documents where they apply (including the cookie banner for optional measurement).
Governing law, language and updates
Romanian law applies. For disputes, the courts of Romania, without affecting your EU consumer rights. If the Romanian and English versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.
