The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest is one of the largest administrative buildings in the world. It was built in the 1980s at the initiative of Nicolae Ceaușescu and is also known as the “House of the People.”
The building has approximately 365,000 square meters, 12 floors above ground, and several underground levels, with over 1,000 rooms. It is built in a monumental style using materials such as marble, wood, and crystal.
Today, it hosts the Parliament of Romania and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, and it is one of the most visited attractions in Bucharest.
