The First Romanian School Museum is located in the historic Șchei neighborhood of Brașov, in the courtyard of the Saint Nicholas Church. This is where the first classes in the Romanian language were held, in 1583, and where deacon Coresi printed the first books in Romanian in Transylvania. The museum preserves the first Romanian printed works, the earliest Romanian grammars, and a complete collection of old Romanian bibles. It is one of the most important places in the history of Romanian culture and language, a truly special place with a remarkable story.
