The Museum of Urban Civilization

The Museum of Urban Civilization is located in the heart of the city, at 15 Piața Sfatului, in a historic building dating back to the 16th century. The museum takes you on a vertical journey through several centuries of history, uncovering elements of civilization from each era as you explore the basement, ground floor, and upper levels. Its exhibits illustrate both the commercial life of the city and the everyday lives of Brașov's inhabitants throughout the ages. It is one of the most interesting and best-presented museums in the city.
