Emerald Lake in Racoș is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Brașov County. Formed inside the former Brazi basalt quarry, the lake is famous for its crystal-clear emerald-green water and the towering volcanic rock walls surrounding it. Together with the Extinct Volcano and the Basalt Columns, it forms the Racoș Geological Complex, offering a unique landscape perfect for photography, walking, and exploring volcanic formations.
