Liteni Fortress is a spectacular medieval fortress perched on a rocky hill above the Iara Valley in Cluj County. Also known as Lita Fortress, Géczy Fortress, or Gelu's Fortress, it was first documented in 1324. Although now in ruins, its remaining walls and dramatic location offer breathtaking panoramic views, making it a popular destination for history enthusiasts, hikers, and photographers.
