Cetatea poate fi vizitată pe jos, pe un traseu de aproximativ 20-30 de minute, sau cu telecabina, care urcă până aproape de intrare. Pentru cele mai frumoase priveliști asupra orașului și a Văii Mureșului, este recomandată vizita la apus.
