Lázár Castle, located in the village of Lăzarea, Harghita County, is one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Transylvania. Built between the 15th and 17th centuries by the noble Lázár family, the castle features impressive bastions, fortified walls, and an elegant inner courtyard. Prince Gabriel Bethlen, one of Transylvania's most influential historical figures, spent part of his childhood here.
